13th Floor Elevators, The: Easter Everywhere (CD)

The second album from Roky Erickson and co. saw their songs get longer and more expansive. Stripping away a lot of the garage rock influence and adding plenty of 60s folk rock sounds, the sound is more psychedelic, hypnotic and woozier.

It remains hugely influential, with Primal Scream covering the opener 'Slip Inside This House' and the Levitation festival in Texas being named after it.

  1. Slip Inside This House
  2. Slide Machine
  3. She Lives (In A Time Of Her Own)
  4. Nobody To Love
  5. Baby Blue
  6. Earthquake
  7. Dust
  8. Levitation
  9. I Had To Tell You
  10. Postures (Leave Your Body Behind)
